Liu Ruo Wang "Black Wolves"
After the great success at the Venice Biennale, the installation by the chinese artist Liu Ruo Wang, strongly wished by the Rector of the University of Turin, lands in Turin. The installation of great scenographic effect with strong social content consists in a group of wolves with bloody jaws, which fight againts a stack of books, set by the students of the University, with on top the volume of Emmanuel Kant's "The Critique of pure reason "in the historical translation of Giovanni Gentile. The installation created for the University of Turin, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing, the Confucius Institute of Turin, the Centro Italiano per le Arti e la Cultura and Diffusione Italia International Group is curated by Barbara Leonesi and Vincenzo Sanfo.
